Public transportation is great. Both Tram 13 and 17 stop nearby. Tram 13 takes you to Amsterdam Central Station and Tram 17 to Station Lelylaan from which you can easily catch the train to Schiphol Airport. By car you will reach the highway in 5 minutes.
